The lady panthers competed today at Addison against Summerfield and Dundee for what turned out to be a very exciting meet. For the start of the season, the ladies certainly have set the bar high. Many came out and dominated their goals they set for themselves and others just hit those marks. The panthers fell to Dundee with a final score of Addison – 56 and Dundee – 81 but dominated Summerfield with a final score of Addison – 105 and Summerfield – 27. Below are some of the highlights from tonight’s meet.
Alexis Chapman won the 100 dash with a winning time of 14.19 and finished in 2nd place in the 200 with a time of 30.80.
Abby Zacharias finished in 2nd place in the 100 dash against Summerfield with a time of 15.09.
Ally Beougher finished in 2nd place in the 200 dash against Summerfield with a time of 31.35.
Courtney Flaws finished in 1st place against Summerfield in the 400 dash with a time of 1:09.5.
Emily Knight took 2nd in both the high jump and in the 800 run. She jumped a height of 4’8 and also ran a 2:53.2.
Kendall Morris won the 2 mile against Summerfield with a time of 14:57.4.
Ally McLouth won all 3 of her events today. She long jumped 15’4.75, ran a 17.1 in the 100 hurdles and a 49.1 in the 300 hurdles.
Adrienne Corbin threw an amazing distance in the discus for a personal record and won with a throw of 97’9.
Brooke McAndrews took 1st against Summerfield in the shot put with a throw of 28’5.
Gina Hanson took 2nd place in the high jump against Summerfield with a jump of 4’6.
The 800 relay with Alivia Magnus, Courtney Flaws, Gracie Worsham and Alexis Chapman finished in 1st place with a time of 1:59.8.
The 1600 relay with Courtney Flaws, Emily Bayes, Emily Knight and Ally McLouth also finished in 1st place overall with a time of 4:36.9.
