The Addison boys cross country team competed at the Michigan International Speedway today for the state finals. With a wet and muddy course, the Addison boys, ran extremely well and had a lot of fun doing so today at the state finals. The team was led by senior Zach Morse, who wrapped up his high school career with an All-State finish. Morse ran the race in a time of 17:08 and finished 26th in the division 4 race. Senior Matt Poling finished in 156th place with a time of 19:02. Sophomore Kenny Jarcow finished in 185th place with the time of 19:29. Senior Josh Brown finished in 199th place in a time of 19:45. Senior Zack Steiner finished in 201st place with a time of 19:54. Senior Gavin McAndrews 238th place in a time of 22:13. Freshman Lucas day finished in 242nd place with a time of 23:14.
All 7 of these runners ran very hard and represented the Addison Community extremely well. Everyone’s times were slowed due too the conditions of the course, but the panthers ran and completed well. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to send off these 5 seniors.
The Panthers had a huge crowd there supporting them, showing again and again what it means to be a Panther. For this we are greatful and very thankful.
The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams will come together November 13th at 6pm, one last time for dinner, to reminisce about the season, talk about the accomplishments and hand out awards.
Great Season Panthers!
