Panthers News · Addison Ladies Track places 3rd at the MITCA Team State

It was truly a great day to be a panther. Yesterday at the MITCA Team State meet in Breckenridge, MI, all of the top 12 girls teams of Division 4 competed to see who was the best of the best. It wasn’t an individual effort, it was a team effort. Who has talent, who has depth and who has the most heart. Every person contributes who competes, everyone scores. The Panthers definitely showed up and earned their finish. The Lady Panthers finished in 3rd place overall, behind Pittsford and Hillsdale Academy, with 925 points, above the 4th place finisher, Sand Creek, who had 911. Congratulations to these group of ladies, it was a very well earned finish. As this is the end of the season for most, there is the County meet on Tuesday at Onsted with Lenawee County’s best 8 athletes in every event and then the following Saturday is the MHSAA State Finals in Grand Rapids. The lady panthers will be taking 8 athletes in 7 different events that day. Always a great day to be a Panther. Way to go girls.
