Panthers News · Addison Ladies Track finishes 3rd place at Cascades Conference


The lady panthers traveled to Grass Lake last night for the conference championship with their fellow Cascades teams. They performed well and finished 5th in the meet with 67 points. With the finish last night plus the finish throughout our conference (our 5-2 finish) that put the Panthers finishing in 3rd place, tied with Grass Lake and Napoleon. Here are the top scorers in each event:

The 3200 relay finished in 5th place with a time of 11:19.8 with Emily Knight, Emily Bayes, Kendall Morris and Brianna Laramore.

100 hurdles: Ally McLouth was conference champion with a winning time of 15.43.

100 dash: Alexis Chapman finished in 7th place with a time of 13.84.

The 800 relay finished in 3rd place and was all conference with a time of 1:54.98 with Alexis Chapman, Ally Beougher, Courtney Flaws and Alivia Magnus.

The 400 relay finished in 4th place with a time of 54.94 with Alexis Chapman, Abby Zacharias, Courtney Flaws and Alivia Magnus.

300 hurdles: Ally McLouth was conference champion with a winning time of 49.40.

800 run: Emily Bayes finished in 5th place with a time of 2:46.1.

200 dash: Alexis Chapman finished in 5th place with a time of 28.35.

Discus: Adrienne Corbin finished in 4th place with a throw of 96’8.

Pole Vault: Marguerite Gootee finished in 6th place with a PR jump of 7’6.

Long Jump: Ally McLouth was conference champion with a winning jump of 16’3.

Congratulations ladies on a great conference season. Now onto MITCA team state. The panthers will travel to Breckenridge this weekend to compete as a team in the state meet. #gopanthers
