Panthers News · Addison Ladies Track defeats Grass Lake, falls to Manchester; 5-2 record in Cascades Conference


On their home turf last night, the lady panthers took on the Grass Lake Warriors and the Manchester Dutchmen for the last conference meet of the season. It was going to be a tough one, knowing that both schools were equally as talented. The panthers defeated Grass Lake 71-66 but ended up falling to Manchester 85-51. Here are some of the highlights from the meet last night.

3200 relay – Emily Knight, Emily Bayes, Kendall Morris and Brianna Laramore ran a season best of 11:24.5 finishing first against GL but just behind Manchester.

100 dash- Alexis Chapman finished in 2nd to both Manchester and GL with a time of 13.89, Alivia Magnus also finished in 2nd to GL with a PR time of 14.08.

100 hurdles – Ally McLouth took 1st place with a time of 15.81; Christina Bailey finished in 3rd to Manchester with a PR time of 20.8.

The 800 relay with Alexis Chapman, Ally Beougher, Courtney Flaws and Alivia Magnus finished in 1st (even after a dropped baton) with a time of 1:57.3.

1600- Kendall Morris finished in 2nd place to GL with an impressive PR time of 6:28.1.

400 – Courtney Flaws finished in 1st place to GL but just behind Manchester with a time of 1:07.7; Krystal Bruske finished in 3rd with a season best time of 1:15.8.

300 hurdles – Ally McLouth took 1st place with a time of 49.1; Christina Bailey finished in 2nd to GL with a time of 57.2.

800- Emily Bayes took 2nd place overall with a PR time of 2:42.3.

200 – Alexis Chapman finished in 2nd to GL with a time of 28.35.

3200- Madison Dillon finished in 2nd place with a time of 14:49.0; Jamie Waid in 3rd place with a season best time of 14:59.2.

The 4×400 relay took 1st overall with a season best time of 4:23.8 with Courtney Flaws, Emily Knight, Emily Bayes and Ally McLouth.

Shot Put – Brooke McAndrews took 3rd in the shot with a throw of 26’4.

Discus – Adrienne Corbin finished in 1st to Manchester but just behind GL with a throw of 90’4; Sara Rogers finished in 3rd with a throw of 70’11.

High Jump- Emily Knight finished in 2nd with a jump of 4’6; Krystal Bruske finished in 3rd with a jump of 4’4.

Long Jump – Ally McLouth took 1st place with a jump of 16’0; Jessica Prajzner finished in 2nd to GL with a PR jump of 13’3.75; Erin Flynn finished in 3rd to GL with a jump of 12’11.5.

Pole Vault – Abby Zacharias finished in 2nd overall with a jump of 6’6.

What a conference season you’ve had ladies. We reached our goal of finishing 5-2 or better and also had more than 25 PR’s last night. You all continue to grow, push each other and you leave your mark. With regionals in 10 days, we are ready. Bring on the championship part of the season. Let’s go Panthers!!! Coach is proud.
