Despite the thunderstorms that kept us cooped up in a gym for over 2 hours, the lady panthers still came out of the gymnasium ready to perform and earn some medals. Not only did they finish in 4th place at the Hillsdale Invitational, earning 79.5 points, but they medaled in 12 events today. Here are some of the highlights:
Lindsey Laurie finished in 4th place in the 100 dash with a time of 13.92.
Katie Sawdey finished in 4th place tying her PR throw of 30’9.
The 3200 relay with Haley Wilkes, Brianna Laramore, Krystal Bruske and Emily Knight ran a time of 11:07.5 finishing in 2nd place.
Krystal Bruske finished in 7th place in the 400 with time of 1:09.8.
The 800 relay with Lindsey Laurie, Courtney Flaws, Ashley Vantuyle and Ally McLouth ran a 1:55.9, finishing in 3rd place.
The 400 relay finished in 4th place with Kayla Rutan, Ashley Vantuyle, Jenica Sword and Lindsey Laurie with a time of 55.01.
Ally McLouth finished in 1st place in the 300 hurdles with a time of 47.97 and 3rd place in the long jump with a jump of 15’5.5.
Emily Knight earned a 3rd place finish in the high jump with a jump of 4’6 and 5th place in the 800 with a time of 2:42.4.
Haley Wilkes finished in 3rd place in the 2 mile with a time of 13:26.7.
The 1600 relay with Lindsey Laurie, Emily Knight, Courtney Flaws and Ally McLouth finished in 4th place with a time of 4:39.8.
Brooke McAndrews finished in 6th place with a throw of 26’7
Adrienne Corbin finished 3rd place in discus with a throw of 86’1.
Congratulations ladies on a very damp but successful day. Addison girls will face Hanover Horton and Vandercook Lake for our last conference match up of the season on Tuesday, May 15.
