Game Recap

After a strong start the Addison Middle School football team suffered their first loss at the hands of the Cardinals of Michigan Center. The Panthers drove the ball right down the field on the opening drive of the game finished off with a 5 yard touchdown run by Noah Wilson. The Panther offense put together many other great offensive drives that stalled out before reaching the endzone.
Addison’s defense put up a wonderful fight this evening only having two big miscues that turned into long touchdown plays that proved to be the difference in the games outcome. Nick Bowditch and Kaleb Scott both picked off passes from the Michigan Center quarterback. K.J. Scott was also able to recover a fumble late in the game to give Addison the chance to get another crack at the endzone to try to tie the game. The Panthers were unable to do so and turned the ball over on downs to end the game.
The Middle School Panther’s will bounce back from their first defeat of the season next Wednesday in East Jackson against the Middle School Trojans. The Panthers are now 3-1 on the season.
